The Economic History of the Caribbean

This book by Professor Victor Bulmer-Thomas examines the economic history of the Caribbean in the last 200 years, since the Napoleonic Wars and is the first overall analysis of the region.

Divided into three parts, the first deals with the nineteenth century («The Age of Preferences»), the second until 1960 («The Age of Preferences»), the third deals with the Cuban Revolution today («The Age of Globalization «).
